Rival, Robert Williams.
“Rival” rose out of a hidden desire to embrace the primal
side of ourselves. Often we repress this very important aspect to
our very nature leaving one to question or seek out affimationa that
we are still alive and very much interconnected with all of the other
highly competitive living inhabitants of this worrld. This can only
be realized by testing ones endurance and taking risk head on. The
symbolism of antlers reminds us of our roles of dominance and submissing.
We must remind ourselves to conquer that, which keeps us from great
things.
