Draw a Constellation...
What do you see when you see freckles? Brian Scott saw digital art, and the opportunity to teach a class of teenagers at the Bay Area Youth Fund for Education.
Based on Assignment #9 from the www.learningtoloveyoumore.com website, Brian's students chose to start with a photograph of Ines's face. That's Ines you see here. They then took up the task of drawing constellations by joining her freckles/stars.
The constellations the found on Ines's nose were then imaged and transfered onto T-shirts. Here are the results | | as modeled by their makers. The unexpected approach they took was happily re-interpreted as Assignment #28: Draw a constellation on Ines's face on the Learning To Love You More website.
Brian Scott is based in San Francisco, and has designed under the alias boon since 1993. Mr. Scott is a mentor and teacher at the Bay Area Youth Fund for Education. He is inspired by the ocean, hummingbirds, and plants of all kinds. He adores cheese, music, travel and typography, not necessarily in that order.
